Broads, we did it! March 18th marks our first birthday, and we are THRILLED. There\u2019s so much that we\u2019re proud of and we’ve made so many good memories. Here are just a few.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two weeks after Broad opened for business, we threw a party to celebrate and introduce ourselves to our new neighbours. It was a whirlwind evening, with a fantastic turnout and a burlesque performance to boot!<\/span><\/p>\n

By October, we’d expanded our store hours from five days a week to six. Now you can catch us Tuesday-Sunday every week, with extended hours on Fridays to make it easier to fit a fitting into your schedule.<\/p>\n

In December we hosted a full bust apparel pop-up shop with Bolero Beachwear<\/a> and Exclusively Kristen<\/a>. It was a wild day, filled with dresses and shirts and cupcakes, and <\/span>so<\/span><\/i> many of you! It was a total pleasure to see our broads find their dream outfits with such talented designers.<\/span><\/p>\n

That same month, we participated in the Danforth Mosaic BIA\u2019s Holiday Window Display contest – and won! All that time spent making snowballs, trees, and ice-queen capes was well worth it.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also started a photo project<\/a> to show people the diversity of body types under the \u201cfull bust\u201d umbrella. We\u2019re still taking submissions for this project, if you\u2019d like to participate – just send us a picture of you in your favourite Broad bra using #whatabroadlookslike. (You don’t have to show your face, and you don’t have to take off your shirt!) We’ll be creating a gallery wall of these photos, turning this old window into a wall o’broads.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s more excitement in the works as we move into our second year. We\u2019ll continue to build our wall o\u2019broads with #whatabroadlookslike.
