There\u2019s so much to consider in a bra fitting: technical fit points<\/a>, matching bra shape to body shape<\/a>, personal comfort and style preferences…the list goes on. That\u2019s why we\u2019re so chatty – we\u2019re trying to figure you out! One of the first questions we\u2019ll ask is, \u201cWhat kind of bra are you looking for today?\u201d The answer varies from person to person. \u201cBlack!\u201d \u201cNothing lacy!\u201d \u201cBeige!\u201d \u201cWireless!\u201d \u201cSomething fun!\u201d \u201cA really sexy bra!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of these requests are pretty clear – a bra is either wireless or it\u2019s not, you know? But some requests are more ambiguous. When someone asks for a sexy bra, I always have follow up questions! \u201cSexy\u201d means something a little different to everyone, especially when it comes to their own personal style.<\/span><\/p>\n

This goes hand in hand with what we talked about in our post on preparing for a bra fitting<\/a>. Think about the words you\u2019d use to describe your preferred style, and then break down what those words mean to you in concrete terms. It\u2019s sort of like when you\u2019re getting a new haircut or colour – the more specific you are in your description, the more likely you are to get the look you\u2019ve been dreaming of. It\u2019s the difference between, \u201cI want something cool, a little grungy and tousled,\u201d and \u201cI want Kristen Stewart\u2019s look, as seen in this picture<\/a> I found on LaineyGossip a couple of months ago.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
